OTVA Testimonials

“Kyra received three offers this summer – D2 Assumption College (where she committed), D2 Molloy College and D1 St. Francis College. She also received preferred walk-on roster spot from D1 Quinnipiac, and strong interest from D1 Jacksonville U. To be clear: We are unanimously sure that these offers would not have come without OTVA. Both D2 schools made virtually full-ride tuition offers, with significant athletic components. St. Francis was heavier on the academic but did include athletic money. Kyra’s stellar academic record and test scores ended up being just as important as her volleyball acumen, which we figured would be the case. That said: All three of the schools’ coaches said that playing for OTVA, in open, was a major factor.”

“Thank you so much for all that you have done for my girls. I now have two daughters playing at the D1 level because of you nad our OTVA family. Not only were they trained by the best coaches, but they also learned valuable life lessons and made amazing memories and friends that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. You are the best. OTVA is the best. Period.”

“I just wanted to tell you thank you and give you an update on Alana Shoff. Alana’s time at OVA, training under your skilled coaches paid off! As a freshman, Alana has started and played in all 3 matches this season at Appalachian State and hit a .5 in her last match against Clemson. The other parents were impressed at how “ready to play” she was as a freshman. We also had the privilege of watching her OVA teammate, Kennedy, play for Clemson University. Kennedy started and was fantastic! I was so happy to see 2 OVA players on the court as freshman at the beginning of the season! You really do prepare them for college and get them ready to play! THANK YOU!!”

“Chaney and our family appreciates the skills training, strength training with Titus, and the Sand Volleyball program that OVA provided.

With only one high school season under her belt, we made a wise decision to join the OVA Team. I feel like we had great coaches each year with Vonn, Jules, Willie,TJ as she continued to improve and become a better player. And then in May when she began to play Sand, she realized that she had found her match. We appreciate the expertise and help that she got from Willie and from Aysha, which proved to be enough to get the attention of 4 different collegiate programs.”

Just wanted to tell you thank you!

“We were looking for a more competitive volleyball experience and we found it at OTVA.  We have received excellence in coaching, conditioning, and also in our coaches academic expectations for our girls. OTVA puts an emphasis on well rounded individuals. They also encourage participation in High School teams. Our facility teams are a family to us.  We always finds our teams at tournaments and cheer on each other on. All of our families also always look out for all other players when we travel. These relationships extend far beyond volleyball.”

“My daughter, Hailey, played volleyball at Orlando Volleyball Academy for 8 years. During this time, she was fortunate to be coached by some of the top coaches in the State of Florida who helped her grow as a volleyball player and as a person. Inside the OVA gym, Hailey developed an intense work ethic and desire to be the best she could be and was given opportunities to shine at the highest level. Her time spent at OVA helped Hailey get recruited by Florida State University. My heartfelt thanks to Sindee and Yvonne and the OVA Staff for all they have to done to support Hailey and her volleyball career.”

“Great volleyball club, great coaching and huge mentors for our children! OVA-TBVA provided a strong foundation for my daughter on and off the court as a player and as a person. I’m very thankful she was given an opportunity to be a part of such a great club!”

“Our experience for our daughter at OTVA was great. Perfect mixture of competitive environment while maintaining the enjoyment of a competitive sport. Bailey played 4 years at OTVA. She had an incredible mix of coaches that pushed her. Her skills and confidence have grown tremendously. Bailey is now at UCF playing, but i fell like OTVA will still be her home during christmas and summer breaks. Our coaches truly cared about our daughter. Thank you for all you do Bob!.”

“Just wanted to thank you for all your efforts in helping these girls find a college to play volleyball. We were close to desperation mode and Mac’s season was nearly over. Aaron kept saying “don’t worry” but of course, I did. The Beast of the Southeast was the magic moment. Sloan Greene wrote a nice piece on Aaron’s team and Mac in particular. Just so happened that Chris Catanach from UT was there at the right time. Mac has a full ride between athletic and academic and is on top of the world. She’s even working for them this summer! With OTVA’s promotion and recognition and Mac’s hard work her dreams have all come true. Aaron pushed her and she loved it. What a great coach and mentor. Have to say the same for Darryl. They were like “good cop, bad cop” and the girls really responded to them.”
