Roberto Santasofia

Roberto Santasofia began playing volleyball at the age of 12 where he quickly excelled at the sport. At age 15 he signed his first professional contract with Papel Report Suzano – one of the best professional clubs in Brazil where he served as a Libero. While there his team won 2 National Championships.

Roberto has a well versed knowledge of the game having played volleyball for 11 years, eight of which he competed professionally.
A handful of Roberto’s players have earned scholarships to some of the country’s best Universities: Princeton University, Columbia University, Florida State University, Harvard University, University of Kentucky, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Villanova University, University of Denver, University of Boston, Florida Atlantic, High Point University, Rollins College, University of Florida, University of South Florida.

Assistant Indoor Coach at Rollins College 2006-2014, including 4 seasons having the team ranked in the top 25, and 4 NCAA Regional Tournament appearances.
