Josh Hebron

Josh Hebron began coaching at OT in 2009 and has worked his way to becoming one of the top assistants in the club. He has been the OT 16 Asics Red assistant for the last three years, helping his teams to qualify for the USA Junior National Championships. Josh has also assisted them to bronze medal finishes at AAU Nationals (18 Club, 2015 and 16 Open, 2014).

In 2016, Josh helped OT 16 Asics Red to first place finishes at the Show Me Qualifier and JVA World Challenge, as well as second place finishes at the Disney Qualifier and Big South. Josh also had the opportunity to help OT 18 Asics Red at the USA Junior National Championships, where they finished third in 18 USA. He also helped to train and assist OT 14 Asics Red, who were crowned both the AAU and USAV 14 Open National Champions.

In 2017, he assisted Tanya Starrett and Sindee Snow’s team for a second place finish at AAU Nationals in the 16 Open division with the 16 Rox Red and fifth place at USAV Nationals with the same team.

While assisting Roberto Santasofia in 2018, their team finished first at AAU Nationals and third at USAV Nationals, both championships were played in the 16 open division.  

Josh also serves as the Varsity assistant and JV head coach, under his mentor Stephanie Gibson, at Winter Park HS. He has helped the program to a State Championship in 2013, as well as runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2009. Though no longer coaching in the boys program at WP, he was an assistant for 7 years finishing his tenure with 4 district championships and a Final Four finish in 2012.
